Jane Austen Festival
Saturday and Sunday, July 12th & 13th,
10:00 am to 4:30 pm

A festival dedicated to Jane Austen! Visit our Regency Emporium with new and antiquarian books, jewelry, patterns, fabric, and everything else to make your own Regency dress. Join us for the Regency Style Show, and our Afternoon Tea. Featured speaker Joan Klingel Ray, past president of JASNA, and author of Jane Austen for Dummies will present, “Jane Austen for Smarties”. Watch for more details and registration information as it is announced. This event funded in part by a grant from the Jane Austen Society of North America, the Kentucky Humanities Council, and from Bigelow Tea.

Admission to Event $6, includes a tour of Locust Grove.

Schedule:

Afternoon Tea: 11-4 each day, $14.00/person. Reservations advised. Seatings on the hour. The first 26 reservations are guaranteed inside seating; overflow outside on patio with umbrella tables. Call 502-897-9845 to register.

Regency Style Show: 11 am Saturday; 12 noon on Sunday

Lecture: 2 pm each day - Joan Ray, Author of Jane Austen for Dummies, will present a talk on "Jane Austen for Smarties."

Bonnet-Making Class: 3 pm each day. $45, reservation advised. Call 502-897-9845 to register.

Chamber Music Concert: Sunday, 5:15, $20, Reservation advised
