Feeding Our Roots is Locust Grove’s new initiative exploring the deep connections between food and family, memory, and culture. This initiative is designed to cultivate community connection through history, culture, and cuisine—onsite at Locust Grove and throughout our greater Louisville region. We will host community conversations, cultural programs, and culinary experiences throughout this project as we seek to further our knowledge of the way history and identity has shaped American foodways, and how the modern culinary arts still evoke our shared past today.
