Careers at Locust Grove

At Locust Grove, we are dedicated to preserving and interpreting the historic landscape and buildings of the fifty-five acres that make up our 1790s historic site and museum. As the final home of Louisville’s founder George Rogers Clark, we are committed to telling the stories of all the individuals who lived and worked here, both free and enslaved, through a variety of tours, programs, exhibits, demonstrations, online materials and publications. As a National Historic Landmark and an AAM-accredited museum, our work is dedicated to cultivating a deeper understanding of the present through a richer understanding of the past. There’s never been a more exciting time to work at Locust Grove, where Louisville begins.
