Event Details
In recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 12, 2026, Chief Glenna Wallace (Eastern Shawnee Tribe) and Chief Ben Barnes (Shawnee Tribe) will participate in a live-streamed webinar.
Historic Locust Grove will serve as the community watch-party location for the webinar, followed by a facilitated discussion with attendees.
The event will also include an Indigenous Peoples Day Vendor Fair on the Pavilion, welcoming approximately 5–10 vendors from the KAIRCC community and featuring a food truck from Lauri Lake.
