Gain new insight into one of Kentucky’s most influential families with John Walker, Curator of Collections at Liberty Hall Historic Site. Home to Senator John Brown and five generations of his family, Liberty Hall holds a rich legacy of early American political and cultural history – now revealing fresh discoveries, overlooked stories, and intriguing mysteries from within its collection. Join us for a fascinating look at long-forgotten chapters from one of the Commonwealth’s most storied historic sites. 

This lecture is presented as part of our Afternoon Lecture Series, on the first Wednesday of each month, and takes place on Wednesday, June 3. Doors open at 12:45 PM for drinks and refreshments, and the lecture will begin at 1:15 PM.

Tickets are $8 for Locust Grove members and $10 for non-members.
